|PCH. I must be honest, when I first went to this website and wrote a couple of
sentences. For a brief moment all the anxiety came flooding back to me. Like I
had in my last year at PCH if I say that it was difficult that would be an
understatement. My last year was extremely stressful, I was physically ill and in
fear of losing my job everyday. It was after exhausting every possible way to
resolve being discriminated against. Even going to EEOC only to find out I would
surely lose my job once PCH found out. It was then I decided to seek employment
elsewhere. I have had time to process this and would like to move forward and
participate in this complaint.Thank you, I look forward to hearing from you in this
most serious matter.

treatment of nurses which ultimately affects nursing care. THE PATIENTS
outcome is the bottom line not $$$$. every department affects patient care.
when is pch going to wake up? I waited so long for someone to get the ----- to

bullied by management. I have documentation of my issues which may be of

|comments = I was let go from PCH in July of 2011. I attempted to contest the
dismissal, it was investigated and denied. This was the first time I became
aware of this lawsuit and would very much like to discuss any help I would be
able to lend the litigation.
|comments = A have a few things that the hospital did to me that I decided to
leave after 14 1/2 years of service. I do not know if my allegations can be used
or if there is any legal basis but something needs to be done to that hospital.
There are so many good even excellent nurses who left because they cannot
take the changes that the hospital are making. They write up people
reprimanding them and nurses are so demoralized with all these write ups.

I was terminated. I wasn't written up just terminated right away. Please update

boss and management bullied me and overworked me causing such stress that
I ended up with severe physical and emotions problems due to the stress. I am a

RECEIVING AND THEY SAW HIM ON THE CAMERA. K****** HAD IT OUT FOR
THE MAN (j*******) AND IT WAS GRABBED BY HIM AND GOT HIM FIRED. THIS
GUY WAS A HARD WORKER ON THE DOCK. BUT AS I WAS K ******* DID I

40 hrs/week. I seriously considered making a formal complaint, but because I still

|62. Falsely accused. I'd been harassed for over a year; workload, scheduling
and abusive treatment. I was denied unemployemnt benefits and filed Human

by both the HRD VP as well as her side kick H*****. At this point I realized things

I know all the staff at Palos as well as the medical staff would appreciate this
nonsense to stop! Leadership can cause people to lie or deceive staff, so they
follow the wishes or directives of a Napoleon type leader. Sadly, some Religious
organization feel they have the guidance from above to do whatever they feel is
righteous, even if people and families get hurt. I realized after all this before me,
what kind of organization Palos was and realized I did not want to return,
especially with the retaliation methods they sure were to use.
I believe this administrative leadership often believes it is irreproachable with a
God like power and whatever is decided is the law. Firing of leading clinical and
well respected employees sends a message to “workers”. No one is safe.
Intimidation and threats are a common place from leadership and many feel
actions are supported by CEO who supports the middle management staff in this
type of reckless fashion. Is it to score on budget at time of opportunity, or just get
respected for that fashionable power, I’m not sure.
